PL Business Development, launched in July 2017 to provide a range of consultancy services to clients looking to add experience and strategic insight to help drive their business forward.

Led by Paul Whitnell, the team draw not only on their over 50 collective years of business experience but also from their passion to support clients by building long term business relationships across industry to ensure they can not only understand the clients’ goals but where within their broad network they can draw from to help deliver.

This support for clients draws on the eco system of the now global membership of the British and Irish Trading Alliance (www.bita.ie) that Paul created in 2012 to build a business community of like-minded people that not only were experts in their field but also passionate about sharing that expertise to help others.

Our Expertise

Paul Whitnell – Director

Paul has a background in the varied arenas of business, sport, music and politics.  For 25 years he was the Director of Elections for Fianna Fáil politician Billy Kelleher.  In 2012 Paul created the British and Irish Trading Alliance (BITA), to focus on creating business opportunities for UK and Irish businesses, to offer advice and share connections.  It is with this drive for business connections and strong relationships that he is well placed to spot trends and anticipate the needs of clients in the current diverse and rapidly changing economic environment.

Philomena Leonard – Director

Former qualified Healthcare Assistant Phil brings a wealth of experience in quality customer services and wellbeing . Phils interpersonal skills bring out the best in line with the both the mission of supporting and building strong business relationships for PL Business Developments client which is also synonymous with the mission and values of BITA.

Marcelle Billingsley – Personal Assistant

Marcelle brings a background of Sales Administration, Support work and childminding to both the team and clients of PL Business Development.  With a passion for organisation and her focus on detail she works to ensure we build great relationships with our clients.
